I always love Resort collections because the designers unleash the flowy, the floral, the prints, the bold and the colors. I also love them because I always find a reason to think of myself wearing the clothes, and I love that designers tone it down in such a refreshing way. It is almost mind blowing to see how a trip, or an art exhibit, or a person can bring them so much joy that they get inspired to create something totally different from their Fall and Spring collections, they give us their vacation joy in their wardrobe and that's so sweet and personal. When I choose my favorites I want you guys to know that I look at the look as a whole because I am always interested in the way designers choose to put their clothing together. I have to imagine it as some sort of editorial spread; I'm a visionary. I'm attracted to things I see and I try to imagine them bigger than they are.
